The Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK

Until we reach the day we can keep every patient alive, we must find ways to help everybody living with inflammatory breast cancer and support them to live well.

  • About

The Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK was founded by Caroline Ballinger whose daughter was diagnosed with IBC in 2011. At the time of her daughter’s diagnosis it quickly became clear that there was no IBC-specific support, information or research in the UK.

  • Support First

Our support service aligns with the International Standard of Care for Inflammatory Breast Cancer. We advocate for patients to make informed choices about their care, supporting them throughout their treatment and beyond.

Support is available for patients, healthcare professionals, family members and carers.

  • Fundraising

We are grateful for all fundraising, no matter how big or small. Not only will you be raising money that we vitally need, but you’ll also be raising awareness of this rare form of breast cancer and of our charity.

  • Research

We are committed to advancing research into inflammatory breast cancer. We work closely with clinicians, scientists and research organisations, funding dedicated IBC research here in the UK.
