Our Research Target

IBC Network UK Research Target

Please help us to reach our target

As you may be aware at the last minute we were able to secure additional resources to fund our research at Birmingham University, however, we find ourselves in need of help once again.

In order to secure the next 6-months of research funding at the University of Birmingham, we need your help to raise £37,000 by end October 2023. Failure to reach this target will mean research will have to stop.

To reach our target, our fundraising team will be organising monthly events leading up to and including October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month (Pinktober), you can find more information on these events at our monthly fundraiser.  We hope that you, your family and friends will participate in these events.

We also have many other fundraising ideas at our A to Z of fundraising.

As a volunteer run charity, the majority of our donations fund IBC research at the University of Birmingham and we need your help to raise these vital funds. You can find out more about our researchers, Dr Fedor Berditchevski and Steve Hayward at Meet our researchers.

Let’s do this, get together, have some fun and raise vital funds to help beat inflammatory breast cancer.

Project Grants

Historically our project grants have funded established researchers in the UK with a strong track record in their field. However, we are also committed to supporting new investigators in inflammatory breast cancer research. To this end, we encourage applications from talented researchers at the start of their independent careers.

Applications are welcome throughout the year. We will inform applicants of the outcome of their application by month-end in March, June, September and December, respectively, depending on the date of submission.

Please contact us for more information on our guidelines and an application form. Email us at info@ibcnetworkuk.org stating ‘Research Project Grants’ as your subject heading.

We look forward to hearing from you.
